Be the GVS “Life of the Party!”

It’s here! New Year’s Eve!

Even on this famous night it’s possible to have fun at home. This booklet from the mid 20th century is proof, because you can be the “Life of the Party!”

Presented with the complements of a company called “Three Feathers. First among fine whiskeys,” this pamphlet is full of songs, games, quizzes and fun! Unlike my “Tipple Tips” brochure, this one did not contain a copyright so I don’t know what year it was issued. By the looks of the drawings, I’m guessing the early to mid-20th century.

The pamphlet claims that this is “your complete guide to party fun! The following pages are crammed full of those fine old song favorites that everyone loves to sing— in addition to games, quizzes, contests, recipes: in short everything you need (except the necessary quantities of that good Three Feathers Whiskey) to make every party an outstanding success! Keep this booklet handy whenever you entertain. It’s an easy way to make sure that yours will always be the first among fine parties!”
