Become a Real “Secret Operator!”

Can you catch a criminal if you’re only a kid?

It’s 1937 and everyone you know wants to be a G-Man! Be it on a movie screen or in a comic book, there’s nothing more exciting than following an FBI agent on the trail of a dangerous criminal!

You want to join the bureau, but how to go about it?

At ten years old you’re a little young to volunteer at the nearest FBI office. You and your buddies have formed your own crime fighting club, with your headquarters in Jimmy’s treehouse down the street, but this block isn’t exactly a haven for dangerous desperados.

Isn’t there something more you could do?

Yes!

You found the answer thanks to a box of Post Toasties Cereal. Here was a booklet from famed FBI G-Man Melvin Purvis, with instructions on how you could become a Secret Operator in his Law-and-Order Patrol!

You call an emergency meeting and rush to the treehouse. Here you and your friends pour over the booklet and study the wide variety of crime detection techniques contained inside. Everything from communicating with codes and ciphers, to detecting forgeries to disguising yourself so the criminals don’t recognize you.

Amazing!
